A Sixth Street legend
Casino El Camino opened in 1994 and never tried to be anything else: a dark, loud bar with carved Mayan faces on the walls, a jukebox worth feeding, and burgers so big they come with a warning to be patient.
The burgers made it famous. They've landed us on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and Man Finds Food, and the bar even shows up in an episode of Friday Night Lights.

Three-quarters of a pound of charbroiled Angus beef in a handmade patty, cooked medium unless you say otherwise. Served on an egg-washed white bun, focaccia, or jalapeño-cheddar. Gluten-free bun $2 more, and chicken breast can stand in for beef on any burger.
